March 9^th – 11^th 2013 saw Medisave USA attend the ACC13 in San Francisco’s Moscone Center in conjunction with 3M Littmann. Focussing on the transformation of cardiovascular care – from discovery to delivery, thousands of delegates attended the session learning about the latest developments in cardiology while combining the sunny atmosphere of the west coast city famed for its Golden Gate Bridge and infamous penitentiary Alcatraz.

UK colleagues joined the USA team and together with representatives from 3M Littmann from as far as China, UK, and Australia liaised with thousands of delegates from across the globe to advise the advantages of buying a Littmann stethoscope. With the added benefit of personalization on the spot, the stand was surrounded by cardiology specialists fascinated to view their new stethoscope being engraved with our latest engraving technology.

The usual buzz surrounded the electronic models – particularly the Littmann 3200 with its 12 track recording facility. Medisave were delighted to join 3M Littmann at the NTI conference in Orlando in May. The National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition is a week long annual conference which brings together thousands of nurses who care for acutely and critically ill patients.

A wet and windy Chicago saw the Medisave crew from both the USA branch and UK come and support 3M Littmann at the AHA (American Heart Association) 2010 Scientific Sessions. A great turn out of delegates attended, and the 3M Littmann booth attracted many customers eager to purchase a new stethoscope and have it personalized using the onsite laser engraving facilities.

With a range of bold new finishes, the new Smoke Finish Master Cardiology (2176) seemed to prove particularly popular.

Many familiar faces appeared and by now we are getting used to seeing some of the same physicians from all over the world – from as far away as Brazil and the UK. We are also running smoothly and are well rehearsed with the format and style of the different events attended. At this event we took a Spanish speaker with us which proved incredibly valuable. Due to fluctuating costs in other areas of the world for Littmann Stethoscopes, many delegates purchased several stethoscopes at any one time to pass on to colleague and friends.

At this event, the new 3200 12 track electronic stethoscope was introduced and the feedback from the crowd proved very positive. With a performance rating of 10+ out of 10, immediate play back and Bluetooth connectivity with the facility to store up to 12 tracks, the increased buzz around the stand was evident.

The team were pleased  to stay right in the heart of Chicago and were delighted to welcome the opportunity to work with 3M Littman again to continue to promote the Littmann stethoscope brand.

It is Washington in May and while the tourists check out the cherry blossom, the Medisave team are busy setting up for our first NTI show in conjunction with 3M Littmann. Attracting nursing professionals who specialise in the care of acutely and critically ill patients and their families, the National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition, the event is a great forum to promote and sell the Littmann stethoscope range, while personalizing on site with our engraving facility.

Compared to previous events, this event felt almost local for the Medisave staff and while smaller than previous events, still an excellent opportunity to meet end users of the 3M Littmann brand and promote the new colours and finishes such as the rainbow which proved a big hit.

Medisave staff were treated to an evening at the Smithsonian Museum and got to experience iMax theatre, see space artefacts and touch a piece of the moon! 

Another successful collaboration with Littmann Stethoscopes and a great opportunity to meet with dedicated professionals and promote and personalize the 3M Littmann brand.

In March, Medisave were excited to attend the 59th Annual Scientific Session in Atlanta in collaboration with 3M Littmann.

Another road trip commenced from our HQ in Stratford Connecticut but the team were pleased to stop off at some nice places en route. Well practiced from the AHA event in Orlando, the Medisavers were pleased to prove even more efficient and managed to set up even more quickly!

Promoting and engraving Littmann stethoscopes, this event proved even busier but practice and a more streamlined process meant another smooth few days. With three laser engravers going at full speed but this time with more space, the team did not stop. Held in another giant venue, thousands of delegates attended. One Medisaver was pleased to note that although thousands attended, he recognised some from the previous event and even some doctors from the UK!

As always the Littmann stethoscopes were incredibly well received with nearly everyone choosing to have their purchase personalized. Another exhausting but hugely successful event for the Medisavers and 3M Littmann!

Medisave were delighted to be invited to support 3M Littmann at the AHA (American Heart Association) congress in Orlando in November. With UK and USA staff drafted in for our first ever big event working to promote and engrave Littmann Stethoscopes, logistics were planned and prepared as thoroughly as possible.

 In 21 degree heat, the Medisavers hired an apartment with pool for down time - of which there was little!

 Some staff travelled from DC to Orlando by train, some flew and the laser engravers made their way by car in a journey totalling 19 hours.

Set up the day before was an eye opener. The venue was massive. Although 3M Littmann forwarned the team that it would be busy the size of the event and the amount of customers wanting a new Littmann stethoscope was astounding - many having travelled from overseas.

3M had commissioned an amazing stand and the moment the show started, the stand was inundated by customers wanting to see the latest offerings from Littmann and 3M. Many were delighted to be able to have their stethoscope personalized and the queues extended 5 or 10 people deep such was the demand. The three days ran like clockwork and although crazy, the Medisave team did get a chance to see Orlando Magic play basketball before packing everything up to return to base. A successful first collaboration with 3M Littmann and an amazing opportunity for Medisave to be a part of such a prestigious event.
