Q. "the binaurals for the lightweight select and classics all look the same. can you use the different binaurals for the different stethoscopes?"
A. "You can use the same binaurals on the Select and Classic models. The Lightweight binaurals have a different look and texture (in the image they will look the same, but they are very different). They will possibly work, but we do not advise it."

Q. "is there a reatail store where you can buy these products? "
A. "We are an internet based company, and we have a warehouse and offices in Stratford, Connecticut. You may be able to buy Littmann in a store, but it will be much more expensive as you will have to pay local sales tax and the overheads are higher, so the retailer will have to charge more. You are also unlikely to get the free laser engraving. So, if you can wait for the delivery to arrive (and we offer next day delivery) it is cheaper to order it on-line!"

Q. "is the structure of this product built to last a long time. if i work in a very busy chaotic emergency department will it last and be good enough for patient care and dagnosis? "
A. "Very little can go wrong with the Littmann stethoscope- there are no moving parts (other than the rotating bezel) or mechanics. The Littmann stethoscopes are used by millions of healthcare professionals throughout the world- they are designed to withstand a busy and chaotic environment. The Classic II SE is supplied with a 3 year warranty against any manufacturing defects (excluding the rim and diaphragm)."

Q. "Does engraving affect the performance of this product?"
A. "Hello,No engraving does not affect the performance of this product. For this particular model we set the laser at an anneal setting which heats the metal and produces a sub surface permanent laser mark only. The bell is left smooth."
