BELL MODE (adult)
For low frequencies, apply light pressure with the floating diaphragm.
DIAPHRAGM MODE (Adult)
For high frequencies, apply firm pressure with the floating diaphragm.
Low Frequencies (Pediatric)
Rotate chestpiece and apply light pressure.
High Frequencies (Pediatric)
Use to small floating diaphragm to apply firm pressure.
ADAPTOR
Use the adaptor provided to transform into a traditional open bell.

Overall Rating The product is superb. Amazing sound! I did take the pediatric diaphragm off so that it would be a bell and that works great, too. The color is very stylish and I have gotten many compliments about the brown and copper. The free personalization is fantastic because I don't want anyone walking off with my steth. I debated between this and the classic II and am very happy I went with the cardio III.

I now own two Littmann Cardiology III 's because I couldn't pass up this color. Even prettier in person. The acoustics are amazing. Littmann is known for their high quality stethoscopes and they have outdone themselves again. Very happy with this one.
