Introducing the brand new Littmann Classic III stethoscope from Littmann. With the first major upgrade of the iconic Littmann stethoscope in 18 years, the NEW industry standard has arrived!

The Classic III stethoscope brings new design, materials, and technology to the Littmann stethoscope series that’s been used and trusted by millions of medical professionals worldwide for decades. With a two-sided chestpiece, dual tunable diaphragms, improved tubing, and much more, the Classic III stethoscope combines the best of new and traditional.

As with the Cardiology III, full adult and pediatric auscultation is available through its dual head chestpiece simply by rotating the central spline to alternate between the two sides. The more compact one piece diaphragm and rim assemblies have further increased acoustic sensitivity. The binaurals have been redesigned with larger diameter ear tubes and a thicker single lumen binaural to transfer sound more effectively. The selector spline is now recessed to allow a flush fit with the binaural tube and now features a visual indicator for easy identification of the operational diaphragm.

  • Laser engraving of text and symbols to personalise your scope and avoid theft/loss.
  • Larger ear tubes on the anatomically designed headset comfortably positioned for better sound transfer. Easy adjustment by simply squeezing or pulling apart the eartubes.

I bought this stethoscope as a nursing student because I wanted something that would last me through clinicals and into my career. Before purchasing it, I asked every one of my grandfather’s nurses which Littmann they thought was the best, and this was the model they consistently recommended. They were absolutely right. The sound quality is incredible. Heart, lung, and bowel sounds are clear and crisp, and it has made practicing my assessment skills so much easier. It feels durable, comfortable to wear, and truly like a professional piece of equipment that will stay with me for years. I originally bought it for nursing school, but it ended up becoming so much more. During my grandfather’s hospice journey, I was one of his primary caregivers. With guidance from his hospice team, I used this stethoscope to monitor him, recognize important changes in his condition, and identify findings that needed to be brought to his nurses’ attention. Those moments reinforced everything I was learning in nursing school and showed me how meaningful careful assessment can be. After losing him, every time I put this stethoscope around my neck, I’m reminded not only of him but also of the compassionate nurses who cared for him and inspired me to become the kind of nurse I hope to be. The transaction was a total success! This was my first stethoscope for medical school and it turned out even better than I expected. I did get both my name (first initial and last name) as well as a Bible verse to remind me of God's grace and mercy as I begin this next chapter in my life. I even used a divider symbol I pasted from google (because they didnt have the divider in the symbol list) and it looked perfect online and in person! The Littman worked absolutely perfectly- I listened to both my heart and stomach and the sound was so vibrant and loud- super great quality! definitely recommend!
