As with the Cardiology III, full acoustic range adult and pediatric auscultation is available through its newly designed dual head chestpiece. Simply rotate the central spline to alternate between the two sides for superior adult and pediatric auscultation. The brand new single piece diaphragms (unique to the Cardiology IV), have further optimised acoustic sensitivity, making all sounds clearer and easier to hear! The new long life binaural (two tubes in one) are the very latest specification, and latest materials, helping raise the warranty length to an industry leading 7 years! The selector spline is now recessed to allow a perfect flush fit with the binaural tube, now featuring a visual indicator for easy identification of the operational diaphragm.

Really pretty and is nice being able to actually hear a lot better than my other stethoscope the MDF one I got this one to myself as a gift for passing my CCMA exam and as an almost premed college student in neuroscience in the fall, I got my name engraved so nobody can take my expensive littmann as I’ve heard many stories of that happening.

Easy to order, arrived in a few days with regular shipping and could have arrived faster with express shipping option! I opted to have the bell engraved and the engraving looks good as well! The stethoscope itself is a Littman Cardiology in the black/plum/rainbow option with polished finish. I can hear well with it! I’ve had a Littman classic since 2009 when I graduated nursing school and chose to upgrade to the cardiology to hear better. It does make a difference. Great customer service!

The stethoscope is great. Quality is better than my lightweight II for sure(previously used for over 10 yrs). The cardiopod(pouch for the steth) needs to be built a little differently to keep the steth from coming off of its place and also avoid squishing the end(the area that goes into the ear)together. Littman or Medicare need to include instructions on how to clean and take care of the stethoscope and pod. For instance, is it save to use the purple hospital disinfectant wipes on it?? Who knows...I'm not willing to try just yet. Otherwise, everything is good. Plus its really not that sticky.
